Mullins, 59, was killed in bis pigpen when he went to feed his hogs. His mother, Mrs. Henry (Min­ nie) Muhins, 85, was wound­ ed in the back of the neck while sitting. In tlie farm home. She is in critical con­ dition in Loudon Hospital. The Mullins family operat­ ed the store at Saintsbury for quite a few years and are well know in the district. Police staged an intensive search around the Muncey Indian reserve where the sus­ pected killer was nabbed. No motive for the attack lias been revealed. This ’was the second time the Seniors have sung carols for broadcasting over the Wing­ ham station especially for the en- enjoyment of other senior- citi­ zens in this area, iDr. E. -S. Steiner, program chairman, welcomed visitors from St. Marys—-Stan Moore, recrea­ tional director and two members of the rec -council. Musical part of the -program included accordion and -vocal -sel­ ections by Mrs. Jack -Coates; solos by Mrs. Goeman; duets by Jean­ ette Taylor and Pat iCann and a qomedy number by -Sterling Ince and 'Bob Russell, accompanied by Mrs. Ince, Frank Hock ad ay, ven­ triloquist and comedian Ian Pen­ ning added 'humor to the program Marion Creery, SHDHiS student, entertained with readings. The Rev. 'H. J. lSnel-1 brought, a brief Christmas message stressing the Importance of keeping Christ in Christmas Santa Claus arrived in time to help in distributing the gifts which were piled- under a decor­ ated ’Christmas tree. Mr, Ed. Westcott won the door prize and. a special prize, donated by Mr. and Mrs. Hilton .Ford, was pre­ sented to Mr, Jos Davis, 8-8, the oldest citizen attending. Hensall Kinsmen were granted permission to erect a bulletin board at the town hall. E. L, Mickle was appointed as Hensall representative on the South Huron District High School Board for 1956 and 1957. ■Miss C. Mitchell complained about tax and water problems 'but no action was taken. Clerk J. A. Paterson-said only four percent of 1956 taxes were in arrears. <E. _R._ Davis reported on the' erection of snow fence,* patching to the streets, and -repairs to the hall furnace. Native Of Exeter Dies In St. Marys Mrs. Follick, wife of the late •Dr. Leonard (Follick, of St. Marys, a former Exeter native, passed away suddenly early Wednesday morning of last week. •In 1909 she married Dr. Fol­ lick, a dental surgeon, and down through the years she had been greatly interested in the work of the United church choir, the W. A. and the W. M. S. iShe was a memiber of the W. C. T. U. Hey, husband died in 1942 and a son, Frederick, died four years ago. IShe is survived by three daughters and six grandchildren. Miss Mabie Follick, of town, is a sister-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Johns and family; Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Neil and Roberta motored to Tor­ onto Sunday and attended 'a fam­ ily reunion at the home of Mr, W. E. iBosnell.'Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Johns, who 'have been visiting in Toronto and Tort Hope for three weeks, returned home with them.
