of Mt. Carmel bowling team
gathered at the home of Mrs.
Hubert Dietrich where a shower
was held for the bride -elect of

They 'presented her with a chair.
Draw Up Bowling Schedule
The Mt. Carmel bowling team
drew up their schedule for the
winter. There are five teams com-
peting. Rev. Father A. IScalisi is
organizing the teams.

Mt. -Carmel attended the Regier-
Farwell wedding at Zurich on
Saturday.
The Mt. Carmel• and St. Peter
parishes had church roller skat-
ing evening 'Friday on the Grand

A popular and 'widely known
Young' man In 'Unborn Town-
ship, William Harry IStep'heIi,,
passed away in Victoria. 'Hospital,
London, on 'Thursday evening ;at
.the :age of 1±7 years,
He received

High 'School and was a member
of Zion United ;Church,
He was the son .of Mr. and.
Mrs. William Stephen and had
farmed with his father 'until two
years ago when .he entered the
employ of Walls Bu's Lines 'and
drove a school bus to Medway
High School and a' transport bus
to London suburbs, In March of
this year he was forced to quit
his job on account of illness.
Besides his parents he is sur-
vived by two ;brothers, Douglas
and, Earl at home and two sisters,.
Mrs, William Jeffrey, (Stratford
and 'Greta at ,borne.
Funeral services were held
from the Hopper -Hockey funeral
home on Monday 'by Rev. J. H.
Slade. Interment was glade in
Exeter cemetery.
Laurie and Murray ;Stephan,
Grant Knowles, Murray Coward,
Lloyd Johns and Gordon Johns
acted as pallbearers.
