bekah Assembly, which they at-
tended in Toronto, were given by

Larry Lewis.
M•r. 'Lewis gave his daughter
in :marriage. She wore a floor
length gown of nylon tulle (ever
satin with fitted 'Chantilly lace
bodice and matching lace jacket
fashioned with long sleeves and
small peter pan jewelled collar,
Ruffles of nyldn tulle featured
her !bouffant skirt, A coronet of
seed pearls held her tulle illusion
finger tip veil. She carried a cas-
cade of pink roses and white pom
pom mums,
She was attended by Miss Mary
Tpmes as maid of honor wearing
a floor length •gown of heavenly
blue silk velvet with layers of
nylon tulle over taffeta and match-
ing headdress. Yellow roses and
white pom poms made up her
cascade bouquet.
The groomsman was Steil Tay-
lor brother of the groom. Ushers
were Cecil Lewis, •Lucan, brother
of :the bride and Robert Taylor,
brother of the groom,
At a reception in Lucan .Com-
munity Centre the 'bride's mother
received her guests wearing a
navy dress with .pink accessories
and corsage of pink roses and
white pom •poms. The .groom's
mother also chose a navy en-
semble with corsage •of pink and
white,
+For their honeymoon trip the
bride donned a winter white
tweed •suit with brown accessor-
ies and yellow rose corsage.
On •their return Mr. and Mrs.
Taylor will live in London.

speaker at the +September meet-
ing of James St Afternoon Aux-
iliary, He read Acts 11, 19-24
and directed .his discourse more
particularly +from the 23rd verse.
Barnabas swas sent from Jerusalem
to Antioch to estimate the situa-
tion +there and was happy over
the spiritual growth of the first
church. The verse is a message
of encouragement anti direction --
Mr. Schroeder invoked the Aux-
iliary, members to be !rumble, be
dependent on Jesus, have trust
and Courage and great !blessing
will result.
Mrs. Frank King who presided'
for the •program played an inefi ii -
mental "The Chapel in +the Moun-
tain". She conducted the worship

27. The W.M.S. anniversary is to

heim as guest speaker.
Mrs. C. W. Down, temperance
secretary, stated that five prov-
inces of Canada have temperance
education in the schools and that
teachers' colleges have temper-
ances study on their curriculum.
Mrs. Ed. Westcott, Missionary
Monthly secretary, announced
that the subscription price for the
magazine would advance twenty-
five cents for next year due
to increased costs. This is the
first increase in eight years—the
rate for 1956 being 75c per year.

Starts New Study
The new'study book for Mission
Circles "No Vanishing Race" was
intrbdueed at the first fall meet-
ing of James Street Mission Cir-
cle on 'Tuesday evening by Mari-
lyn Hern. She was assisted by
,Pauline Lynn, •Ardys ;Glenn and
Marion Brock.
The worship service was taken
by Mrs, :Doreen 'Holtzman.
Marilyn Hern, president, con-
ducted the business. Ten 'waiters
from the Circle are requested for
the fowl supper sponsored by the
ladies of James Street church.
Contests and lunch concluded
the meeting which was held at

Donations from various quar-
ters were received by the Hospital.
Auxiliary for the hospital it was
i••eported at the meeing. en Tues-
day afternoon,
fMrs. Clarke of Windsor donat-
ed ten dollars to the Auxiliary In
appreciation of services shown
her when she was a patient at
the Hospital,
Mizpah Conclave, London, made
a gift of two layettes to the Hos-
pital to be used as Miss Claypole,
superintendent sees fit.
Hurondale Wornen',s Institute
presented a Colson inhalator/for
use in the hospital.
Mrs. R. E. Russell presided
for the meeting. Plans were made
to hold tag day on Saturday, Oc-
tober 1.
The regional meeting of hos-
pial auxiliaries is being held in
Stratford on October 5.
Guild At Trivitt
Plans Fair Booth
Following the vacation season
the first meeting of the •Guild of
Trlvitt ;Memorial church was held
on Thursday evening in the Par-
ish Hall.
Mrs. L. Gibson, president, con-
ducted the business meeting. Ar-
rangements were made for the
li'air Booth which is being op-
erated by the Guild again this
year.
One of the new projects will
be the making of 'a quilt !which
has been ordered.

community was the wedding in
Central 'Avenue United ;Church,
Fort Erie, of Marjorie Joan Sew-
ell ;to ;Ronald Ervin Sattelberg.
The bride ;is a, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs, G, G. Sewell, Fort Erie.
Mr. Sewell was formerly manager
of the Bank of Montreal at Zur-
leb. Mrs, Sewell was +the former
Edith Hill of Crediton eommun-
ity_and has a wide connection of
relatives In 'this district. The
groom is the .son of Mr. and IMrs.

The officiating •clergyman was
Rev.' John D, Wood.
+Given in marriage by her fath-
er, the bride wore an original
gown, designed by herself, of
white pure silk taffeta with fagot -
ting detail. Her silk illusion veil
was held by a 'band of seed ,pearls
and she carried a cascade of white
fugi mulles.
;Friends of the bride were her
attendants, in princess gowns of
antique satin, the maid of honor
and the bridesmaid in copper
color and the junior bridesmaid
in green. All carried ,cascade bou-
quets of orange, rust and reddish
brown,
The reception was held at the
Hotel Fort Erie after which the
bridal couple left on a motor trip
through the Eastern States.
On their return they will re-
side at Fayettville, N.C. Both the
bride and the groom are graduat-
es in architecture — the bride
from the University of Toronto
and the ,groom from Cranbrook
Academy of Arts, Michigan.
The bride and her brother, who
was an usher at the wedding,
were former students at South
Huron Disrict High ,School.
Under forest management, it is
