of July, 1955, and to ane directed, commanding me to levy upon
the lands mentioned in the following list for arrears of taxes .
thereon, together with all casts incurred, I hereby give notice
that unless the amount and costs are sooner paid, I shall
proceed to sell the said land, or as much as shall be sufficient
to discharge such arrears of taxes and •changes thereon, at the
Council Chambers in the Town Hall, Exeter, Ontario, by ,public
auction on Thursday, November 10., 1955, at the hour of 2
o'clock in the afternoon, in compliance with the statutes in
that behalf. Notice is hereby further given that if any of the
said land remain unsold, an adjourn sale will be held on
Thursday, November 17, 1965, at the same time and place
and at which the Municipality may reserve the right to pur-
chase any of the said lands.

Hopes for a strong six -team
Intermediate "A" hockey group-
ing were expressed by W.O.A.A.
club officials at a pre -+season
meeting in Wingham Monday
night.
Representatives from Exeter,
Goderieh, Strathroy and Forest
agreed to approach Milverton
and New Hamnbitrg • clubs in an
attempt to enlarge the group,
Officials believe that 'a triple
schedule involving six teams
would prove popular with the
fans.
,The teams hope to get start-
ed around November 10.. A pub-
licity campaign is bbing organ-
ized to keep fans posted on stand-
ing and scoring statistics.
;Bill Musser and Irwin Ford,
officials of the Exeter Booster
Hockey 'Club, :were the local rep-
resentatives.
Musser and Playing -Coach Red
Loader are negotiating for play-
ers for the coming season :but
none have been signed yet. The
Exeter members who will form
the nucleus of the team 'include

Alter Zurich Cops Third Win
(Dashwood Tigers broke the
spell of Zurich'% ace hurler, Jinx
Attrill, Monday night to stave off
elimination from the Huron -
Perth "D" finals;
Attrill, who has upset the Hu-
ron -Perth champions three times
in the best -of -seven series, gave
up .eight runs in the first three
innings to give Dashwood an
8-6 win in the fifth gauze of the
series. Dick Regier three run
homer was the highlight of the
Dashwood attack.
The Lumber Kings took a 3-1
lead in the first inning but the
Tigers rallied for, four runs in
the second and three in tate third
to establish, a game -winning :mar-
gin, Zurich threatened in the
fifth and eighth innings .but win-
ning pitcher Gerry Guenther was
able to hold the lead.
A double by Don O'Brien and
walks to Attrill and Gerry Bell
set the stage for Zurich's three
runs in the first inning. Ben
Gignac's single and an error in
the outfield brought the tallies
in.
Jim Hayter got one run in for
Dashwood in the last half of the
inning when he scored on Carl
Wein':s single which was babbled
in the outfield.
Lyn Sinesac started. the Tigers
second -inning spiurge with asin-
gle and stole second. Lorne Klein -
saver's single drove him home,
Ray Wein reached first on a field-
er's choice and Dick Regier's
home run cleared the bases.
Guenther and Jim Hayter sin-
gled in the third to spark a
three -run outburst.
Jack Haberer and Doug O'Brien
scored for Zurich in the fifth and
Ron Heimrich, who relieved At -
trill, scored in the eighth after,
hitting a single. Heimrich proved
effective in relief, allowing only
one hit in four innings.
Hurls Five -Hitter
To Win Third
Attrill hurled nine strike -outs
and allowed only five hits in .the
fourth game Friday night When
Zurich took a commanding 3-1
lead in the series with a 4-3 Vic-
tory. •

run to the Lumber King's win,
Gignac and Bob Rawlings sing -
Juveniles Lose
Despite Wells'
A hard-hitting New Hamburg
team eliminated Exeter Juveniles
from WOAA competition in two
straight games last week. The
boys from :the famous horse-
racing town won 10-5 Thursday
night in Exeter and 14-4 Satur-
day in New Hamburg.
Despite the power displayed
by the winners, the- individual
batting star of the series was
Don Wells. 'Fhe Exeter third
baseman clouted seven safeties
in nine trips to the plate includ-
ing a home run, two triples and
•two doubles. Wells was voted'the
most valuable player of the club
by his mates.
In New Hamburg on Saturday,
Exeter's Jim Crocker held the
winners to a 1-1 tie until the
fourth inning when they scored
three runs. The homesters broke
loose in the sixth and neither
Chuck Parsons ndr Robbie Dob-
son were able to hold them be-
fore they clouted six more.
Jerry Flbrer was the top hit-
ter for the victors with a double
and two singles, Jim Pfaff, the
winning pitcher, needed help
from Mark .Buehlow to finish the
game.

Chuck Parsons, who went the
route for the locals, fanned 11
but allowed five walks. Wells hit
four -for -four and Bob Dobson,
Dick McFalls and ,aim Crocker
hit a bangle each.
Other memlbers of the local
club were Terry Wade, Bill Pol-
len, !Gar Johnston, and Dick
Tailor. Derry Boyle was the
coach assisted by Bill Batten.
