Mayor R. E, Pooley said it may be possible to plant grass in the area this fall. Authorities are also considering construction of a cement wall to prevent erosion of the road just at the foot of the dam. This is part of the park development program. The mayor said only limited measures could be taken this year because the town could not afford any major expenditures. A landscaping expert at O.A.C., Guelph, has provided council with a plan for development which it has adopted.
