Cooper, Sr. Mrs. Howard Finkbeiner and 'Mrs. B. McGregor sang accompanied by Mrs. R. Broadfoot. Miss Eileen MeLean favored with .a piano instrumental, Mrs. Harry Caldwell gave a humorous. reading, Mrs. Q. Jones accom- panied five girls, Cato' Faber, Marie Jarrett, Eileen McLean, Kathryn Anderson, Marlyn An- derson who sang and a violin and piano instrumental was given by Ann and Marie Sinclair. A few contests followed. Wilma was then called to a decorated chair over which hung the traditional decorated sprin- kling ten and an address was read by Miss Isabelle Caldwell. A decorated basket laden with• many useful gifts waspresentedted by Miss Elaine Bell and Miss Pat. Lovell. Wilma made a fitting reply and all joined in singing "For She's a Jolly Goad Fellow”. Refreshments were served in the Sunday School rooms. The ladies were invited to the bride's home to see the trousseau. The kitchen ware was displayed by Mrs. H. Smith, Hensall; the Lady! Workman, Tillsonburg and one sister, Mrs, Howard Bolger, London. The body rested at the Bonthron funeral home, Hensall, until Mon. day at two p.m. when ra public- service was conducted by Rev. N. MVliss Kyle, who lives alone, suffered a fall near her front door at about 10.30 p.m, Sunday evening but managed to Brawl to the kitchen where she lay until 6 a,m, Mon- day morning, when she was found by her nephew, William Kyle, of Kippen, Mrs. Wes Venner, a neighbor, noticed a light burning in the 'house all night and upon investi- gating 'and receiving g no response, se , notified the nephew, Miss Kyle will be in hospital three months. Doug Didk, who had his foot badly crushed in an accident near Mitchell when three logs rolled off a truck, one of the logs Rail- ing on his foot, and 'who has been a• patient in Stratford.
