JOINS PRACTICE—Gerald Webb,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Webb,
Grand Bend, will join the chiro-
practic practice of Robert Reilly,
D.C., at the end of this month.
Mr. Webb, who attended..: South
Huron and Forest high schools,
graduated with his Doctor of
Chiropractic degree from the Ca-
nadian Memorial Chiropractic
College, Toronto, this spring.

Mrs. Irene Coursey left Sunday
for Detroit.where she will be the
guest of her sister, Mrs. Fred
Ford and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Maclntyre
and son Gary, of Glencoe, spent
last weekend with Mr. and Mrs,
Arthur Abbott. Gary remained
for a vacation.
The Lucan-Clandeboye Explor-
ers wish to thank all those who
contributed coat hangers in the
recent drive. Approximately $16
was realized from the sale of
the hangers.
Mrs. Jack Ready and Mrs. Mur-
ray Hodgins were joint hostesses
of a tea for Mrs. Steve Storey
(nee Beulah Bradburn, of Sea -
forth) on Wednesday afternoon
at the home of Mrs. Ready. Those
assisting were Mrs. Ivan Hearn,
Mrs. A. W. Thompson, Mrs. T.
Watson and Miss Marilyn Brown-
lee.
Mrs. Murray Hodgins, Ward
and Wayne are spending the
week at Blew -vale cottage, Ipper-
wash Beach.
Saturday visitors with Mr. and
Mrs. Allen Westman included
-Win and Mrs. Oliver Gidley, Miss
Mabel McRoberts and Miss Bar-
bara Peterson, all of London;
also Miss Olive Johnson, Wood-
stock.
Mr. Gordon Smibert and Miss
Irma O'Neill were weekend visit-
ors with Mr. and Mrs. L. Jimmo,
of Dorchester.

After nine weeks in St. Jo-
seph's Hospital, Mrs. Will Has-
ketf Is home and is able to be
up part of each day. Her daugh-
ter, Mrs. Lloyd Cook and family,
of Brantford, called to see her on
Monday on ` their way to Grand
Bend for a week's vacation.
Mrs. Harold Whyte and David,
Mr. and Mrs. Ken Beattie and
family and Maureen Fenn have
returned home after a holiday at
Colpoy Bay.
Mr. Jack Dickins, Mrs. Will
Dickins and Mrs. Morris McDon-
ald attended the funeral of their
cousin, Mrs. Calvin Hodgins, at
Wyoming last Saturday.
Mr, and Mrs, Henry Hodgins
silent Sunday with their daugh-
ter, Mrs. Cliff Abbott and faintly.
Mrs. Margaret Stewart, of Lon-
don, and Miss Jill Adair, of
Windsor, were Weekend giiests of
Mrs. Joe Murray.
Mr, Harry Prost underwent an
operation in Victoria .hospital
last Monday.
Mr. Jim McKinney, Of Kincar-
dine, is spending a week with
Mr, and Mrs. li•dgar McPalls.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Plggott
have returned to Winnipeg after
spending 10 days with their aunt,
Mrs. 'George Ba9vclen.
Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Laverty and
fennily, of Hamilton, spent last
weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Wil -
Hain Brownlee.

Horny of town celebrated with
their relatives and friends on the
occasion of their.golden wedding
anniversary.
Fifty years ago the 'marriage
of Margaret, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. John Ferguson, of Exeter,
and William Homey, son of Mr.
and Mrs. C. H. Horney of Ifs -
borne, was ,performed by Canon
J. M. Perkins. The attendants
were the 'bride's only sister the
late Mrs. S. J. V. Cann and •Syl-
vanus Cann now, of Bayfielld.
Following their marriage they
took up residence on the home-
stead farm of the groom where
he had been born on the 4th con-
cession of IUsborne and lived there
for five years. They • 'moved to
Kippen and lived there 45 years
before retiring to Exeter nine
years ago!
They are active ,members . of
James St. United Church and, are
interested in community activit-
ies.
They 'haw one daughter Irma,
Mrs. A. iG•ackstetter of Kippen
and three granddaughters, Gail,
Lynn and.Daren IGackstetter,
Mr. .Horney has two sisters,

way, one uncle Chris Balsden of
London and one aunt Mrs. Lucy

uson of Aylmer, Wilila.m of
Thames Road, Joe of Hensall
and James, of Toronto.

They celebrated their .annivers-
ary with a family dinner for .60
at James St. Church at 5.30 serv-
ed by the `Women's Association.
This was followed by a program
and dance in the Exeter Legion
Hall for .300 guests. Mrs, Oliver
Fee was in charge of the guest
book at the •church and at. the
hall Mrs. Oliver Jaques, Mrs.
Clifford Blanchard Exeter, and
Miss 'Shirley Horney, Toronto.
At the hall a program was giv-
en 'with Rev. H. J. Snell as chair-
man. It included solos by Maxine
Reeder accompanied by Mrs. E.
Nixon, solos and duetts by_,14Irs.
Hugh Parsons and Grant McDon-
ald, solos and .duetts by Mrs.
Bruce Cann and her daughter,
Susie of Clinton, duetts by Gail
