The bride is the daughter or
Bertrand Bradburn, Seaforth, and
the late Mrs, Bradburn. The
groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs,
F. H. Storey, of Gadsnill.

Given in marriage by her fa-
ther, the bride were a waltz -
length gown of white nylon lace
over tafreta. The bodice had lily -
point sleeves and sequin trim and

and she carried a cascade of red
roses and ivy,
Miss Marian Lillico attended

greom, was flower girl wearing a
pink nylon dress with matching
headdress and blue carnation
'corsage.
Don Storey, of London, was
best man for his brother. Ushers
were Murray Bradburn, of Bel -
grave, and Donald Zinn, Strat-
ford.
For the reception held in the
parish hall, the bride's aunt,
Mrs. Mary Davidson, of Sarnia,
ehose •a navy silk print dress and
white accessories and a corsage of
pale yellow carnations. The
groom's mother assisted her in
receiving, wearing a brown en-
semble with white accessories and
white carnation corsage.
The bride changed to a grey
flecked suit and jacket with
white accessories and red rose
corsage for the wedding trip.
The couple will reside in Lu -
can where the groom is employed
at the J. B. Ready store.

Bridal Party Dine At Lucan
The parsonage of Wesley Unit-
ed Church, Granton was the
scene of a pretty wedding June
11, when Helen Meths, Bennett,
eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Leonard Harris, R.R. 4, Den-
field, became the bride of Lloyd
Shoemaker, only son of Mr, and
Mrs, Menne Shoemaker, R.R. 1
Elora.
The bride, given in marriage
by her. step -father, wore a waltz -
length ice blue nylon over taffeta
gown and white accessories. She
carried a white Bible topped with
a corsage of pink baby roses and
blue ribbon.
Rev. T. G. Head officiated at
the double ring ceremony.
A reception was held in the
Lucan United Church parlors and
was attended by 30 ,guests includ-
ing friends and neighbours from
the district and also relatives and
friends from Windsor, London
and Hamilton.
Following the reception, the
bride and groom left for a honey-
moon trip to Niagara Palls. On
their return they will reside at
Elora. A
Junior Jamboree
Prompts Another,
Response to the first junior
Farmer Jamboree in Exeter Arena
on Saturday night was so enthus-
iastic the local organization will
stage another this weekend. Over
150 attended the first night and
double that attendance is expect-
ed this Saturday night.
Desjardine's Orchestra, Zurich,
played for dancing. Entertain-
ment was supplied by a record
pantomime artist from London.
Junior Farmer talent will perform
this Saturday night.

Films for the Agriculture and
Canadian Industry program of the
June meeting of the McGillivray
W. I. held in McGillivray Hall
were shown. One filin, entitled
"Story of Standards" showed var-
ies proceedures of packing and
canning foods, such as meats,
fruits, chedse, eggs and many oth-
ers. One of the pictures showed
eggs being packed and graded at
the Parkhill creamery. The other
film entitled "One Hundred Mil-
lion Oranges" gave a description
of the production of Florida or-
anges from the time of tree plant -
Ing to the processing in the fac-
tories, of the polishing and juice -
making of various citrus fruits.
, The roll was answered by nam-
ing a flower in bloem on each
mem.bee's birthday.
It was decided to cater for the
Federation of Agriculture supper
in November. The members were
in favor of giving a special prize
for the best cherry pie at Park-
hill Fair.
The motto "The farmer le God's'
partner in feeding the world"
was taken by Mrs. Laverne Alli-
son. „Community Events were re-
viewed by Mrs. Aabert Arm-
strong. A fruit contest conducted
by Mrs. Parry Thompson was won
by Mrs. Wes. Lewis.
