Supervisors
Eight supervisors have been
employed to assist Recreation Di-
rector Doug Smith with Exeter
Kinsmen's playground this sum-
mer, it was announced at the
club's meeting Friday night.
May Wuertli, chairman of the
club's playground committee, said
two additions to the staff will
replace Don Taylor and Marilyn
Skinner, who have resigned. The
new supervisors are Lorna Taylor
and Judy Ross.
Joan Thomson has been ap-
pointed assistant chief supervisor.
Bob Fletcher will remain as swim-
ming instructor and lifeguard.
Other members of the staff in-
clude Julia Dunlop, Trudy Pic-
kard, Bill Pollen and Jane Far-
row.
Several of the staff will at-
tend Saturday courses in Wing -
ham before the playground opens.
The town has ordered some
new equipment for the swimming
area at Victoria Park. This in-
cludes a raft and a new instruct-
ing float.
President Les Parker conduct-
ed the Kinsmen meeting and re-'
ported on the district convention
in London. A film on the 1954
Grey Cup game was shown.

victory of the season on Monday
night -- a 5-2 triumph over
Auburn. Turner is a Tiger pros-
pect and' may remain in Dash-
wood to strengthen the club's
