1 Buy My Insurance
From An Agent Or Broker
• •
I BUY 111y insurance from an agent or broker for the same reason that 1
bay my honey from a grocer rather than from the bee. While I might
save money by dealing directly with the bee, there's'a good possibility
that my lack of training, knowledge, and experience would result in my
getting stung. Why should I gamble on my own trial and error method,
When I can secure the services of a mat who has devoted years to the
study and application of a]1 the different coverages required by all the

Harry Watson Target
For Kids At Banquet
Harry Watson, a famous *-
tacker on the ice, found himself
the target for questions fired by
the 100 kids Who attendod the
Exeter Minor Athletic Association
hockey banquet Saturday after-
noon.
The eager youngsters Pried the
Chicago Black Hawk left-winger
for information • on everything
about hockey players from sleep
to fights.
A veteran of five Stanley 011P
teams, Watson was traded. to
Chicago this past season from
Toronto where he ,played for
eight and one-half years.
Some of the kids' questiens
and Watson's answers were;
Who is the best goaltender
the N.H.I...--Harry Lumley of the
Leafs and Terry ,Sawehuck of
Detroit are the toughen to beat.
What do scouts look for in a
player? They want fellows who
can skate well. They look for. a
player with "heart"—who works
all the time and gives lits best
on the ice --and a "heady" player
who is always thinking on the
ice.
What do you do on road tripe?
See a show or shop in the after-
noon, eat a steak about 4 'O -clock
and sleep to 7 to rest up for, a
game.
Are you nervous before an im-
portant game? Every player
plays better when he has butter-
flies in his stomach before a game.
You still get that feeling no niat-
ter how long you've,„13een in the
league. •
When a player hits you, .do
you ,hit him right back? You
wait for your chance to cateh
him sometime with his head
down.
Best club in the N.H.L.? Tor-
onto Maple Leafs are the .best
organized. Montreal and Detroit
are good. 0
How long does a pair of skates
last a player? Most use two pair
a year.
Who is the best player on the
Leafs? The sports writers chose
Ted Kennedy but I think Harry
Lumley is the best.
How many pounds do you lose
in a Wee? 1 lose three or four
but some fellows, like Jim Thom-
son of the Leafs, lose seven.
How much do you make? A
player starts, in the' N.H.L. at
46,600 to $7,000. If you have a
good year you may make $9,000
but after a bad one you might
drop back to $7,000.
What's the best shot to use
on a breakaway? Most fellows
like to try to pull the goaltender
out but goalies tell me they're
easier to stop. I shoot from 20
feet •out on the ice.
How many goals have you
scored? .210 sinee I started in
the N.H.L. eight and one-half
years ago.
What defenceman is the hard-
est to, get by? Doug Harvey of
Canadiens.
Who is the better player, Rich-
ard or Howe?. Both are tough.
Howe is the better two-way play-
er but both are dangerous in-
side the blueline.
Ever been in a fight? Two
since I've been in the league.
They don't do you any good.
