tend a, meeting of Victoria Rebe-
kah Lodge at. which a degree team
frren Buffalo will initiate several
candidates.
Friendship Night will be ob-
served at the next meeting of the
lodge, April 20.
An invitation was accepted to
the celebration of the twenty-
fifth anniversary of, Clinton Re-
bekah Lodge on May 2 to which
all the lodges in the district have.

palms formed the setting for the
wedding. Miss Aileen Guymer
presided at the organ.
Given in marriage by her fath-
er, the bride wore a- ballerina
length gown of embroidered ny-
lon and tulle. The jacket of em-
broideled nylon was designed with
lily point sleeves and the bouf-
fant skirt was finished in white
tulle. She carried an ivory praYer
book trested with an orchid and
white sweet -peas.
Mrs. Alvin Faulder, who was
her sister's matron -of -honor,
chose a Vowder blue lace and ny-
lon net gown and Carried yellow
Shasta 'mums..
John H. Hayes, London, was
groomsman and the ushers 'were
Ronald Burns, London and Alvin
Faulder, Ailsa 1Craig.
At the reception at the Latin
Quarter, the bride's mother re-
ceived the guests wearing a navy
dress with riavy. and white acces-
sories and a red rose corsage.
The bride donned a powder
blue suit with navy and white
accessories and an orchid corsage
for the wedding trip to Buffalo,
Cleveland and Detroit. Mr. IClark,
a graduate of London Teacher's
College, and his bride will make
their home in London.

make an attractive dessert any-
time.

3 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 stbs, water
1* cups pastry flour
2 tsps. baking pOwder
Mix as you would for sponge
cake. 'Spread a thin layer in
greased layer cake -tins or pie
tins and bake, While still warm
eut each layer into four pie -
shaped pieces.
Fold cut edges together and
hold with tooth picks to form
lilies. Fill with whipped cream
topped with a-eherry. This reeipe
makes about 2* dozen. You may
fill as needed. Remove tooth
picks before serving.

1 cup white sugar ,
1 cup brown sugar
a 'cup cream
cup corn syrup
Cook until it forms a soft ball.
Remove from heat. Add vanilla,
walnut meats and 1 teaspoon
butter. Beat
