Beef
EXETER BABY BEEF has been
very popular. We have more this
week from fine young beef cattle
—the best we can buy. WE GUAR-
ANTEE THE QUALITY. Quarters
Will be 100 to 110 -lbs. If you are a
small family, we will gladly divide
a quarter. or side between . two
customers.
Try some— the price is attractive
;for this quality.
• Special This Week: Baby Beef,
Heart, Liver;, Tongue --35¢ Lb,
Do You Know?
When we make sausage for you all the meat comes
from your own pig—all the fat is ground from your
pork alone, All the minced beef is taken from your
quarter only—not from. the day's work. This takes
time and careful operation—it may cost a little—but
you know just what you are 'getting.
All packages are fast frozen as soon as wrapped—
that is very important and the reason why sausage
and ground meat are good for ion; periods in your
locker or frozen food compartment.

Trip To Europe
Entertains WA
One of the most interesting and
informative meetings of the W.A.
of Trivitt Memorial Church was
held at the home of Mrs. George
Rether on Tuesday with Mrs. H.
Bierling presiding,
Mrs, F. Dobbs introduced the
Study Beak on India,
R.etier then intraduced
Mrs, Knight :froali Saskatoon, who
is visiting her daughter, Mrs.
George Dobbs. Ma's. Knight has
recently returned :from a four-
months tour of sixteen European
countries and presented the high-
lights of each .country. As Mrs.
Knight is an experienced speaker
of note, the members really fell
under the spell of these countries
and travelled right along with
her, Sweden showed the greatest
signs of progress and prosperity,
and university students from all
over the world are flocking there
to learn their methods. There is
no sign of progress in France and
they apparently are taking no in-
terest in their country. London
still has its war scars with much
rubble still around, By contrast,
Strasburg, in Germany, which
had just as many bombings,
usually retaliation for London
bombings, was a hive of industry
and was beautiful with a coIn-
plete new rebuilding of all dam-
aged parts.
One of the places which , im-
pressed her most was Markham
Island, off Amsterdam, Holland.
Centuries ago 40 people inhabit-
ed .this island and during the
ages nobody from other parts
were permitted to live there—if
they married outside athe island
they had to leave it altogether,
hence there is much inter-
marriage resulting in queer folk.
The boys and girls dress alike
until they reach 14 years of age
—a frill on the pinafore distin-
guishes them and the style of
dress has never changed.
She caused a, great deal of
merriment telling of the antics
she had to go through to kiss 'the
blarney stone in Ireland and also
how she made friends with a
group of German- hitch -hikers by
singing in English and playing
for their German songs.
