This r eenkI - coralfeted establishment, first of its kind in this area, will be open to the public on Friday and Saturday afternoons and evenings from 2 to G p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Feature of the openiug will be the free laundering of 400 pounds of clothes over the weekend. One hundred pounds of laundry will be washed and dried free to the first customers who visit the Plant each afternoon and evening, There's a limit of nine pounds per customer. The new laundry, which boasts four modern, automatic washing machines and two large drying machines, has been eQustructed on the front of the Brady dry cleaning plant. An attractive ex- terior and colorful interior de- corations feature the addition. In announcing the opening of the laundeterla, Ed Brady, presi- dent of the firm, said: "We are now able to offer to Exeter and district residents the most mo- dern laundry service possible. We aim to give top quality, workman- ship and fast efficient service. Our policy, above all, will be com- plete customer satisfaction."� "The laundeteria now added to our dry cleaning department is, we hope, another step forward in giving this community a complete garment cleaning service. "The addition of our new laundry machines, plus a plentiful supply of completely soft water, heated to the right temperature for any wash, will give our cus- tomers the utmost in sparkling clean clothes. "The automatic Bendix,waslters which will handle a maximum load of nine pounds, have proven to be among the most efficient and effective available today. These three washers will wash over 50 pounds of clothes per hour with a minimum of effort for all concerned. "The large Milnor Automatic Washer, which Is one of the new- est commerical machines on the market, gives the whitest' wash with the gentlest cleaning action possible. "From these automatic ma- chines, the clothes are taken to the spin-dry extractor which, in a matter of four minutes, extracts most of the water by a centri. fugal force which has absolutely no mechanical action on the clothes. This leaves them in a damp -dry condition ready for ironing. "From the extractor, clothes can go to the tumbler in which they are dried by a gentle turn- ing action in a cylhlder in which clean, hot, filtered air is drawn through the clothes and expelled, along with the moisture, to the outside air. This tumbling action plus the flow of clean, warns air conditions the clothes to a per- fectly soft, fluffy finish in six to eight minutes. "All of these automatic ma- chines assure our customers of fast, efficient service which is available at exceptionally - low price. Each load of laundry is put through the whole operation as an individual unit, thus avoiding mixups.
