72, a life-long resident Of this
area, died at ISouth Ruron. Hos-
pital on New Year's day,
Re WAR born in 'Stephen town-
ship son pf the late joint and
Elizabeth. Rohde. Following their
marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Rphde
farmed in Stephen Zr several
years and then moved to Tlaborlie
township where they farmed un-
til their retirement five years
ago. Since then they have Yyla46
their home in Exeter,
Mr, Rohde was 'a member of
James St. 'United Church.
Surviving besides bis wife, the
fornaer Maggie Turnbull, a r e
three sons, Alex and Arthur of
Mitchell and William of Thames
Road; two daughters, Mrs. El-
mer Gibson (Marguerite) of Lon-
don and Mrs. Riney Keller (Annie)
bf Exeter; one sister, Mrs. Nat,
Ogden Exeter; 11 grandchildren
and 2 great grandchildren.
The body rested. at the Hopper -
Hockey funeral home where the
Rev. E. J. Snell conducted the
funeral .service on Tuesday after-
noon,
Pallbearers were Charles Mil-
ler, Norman Passmore, William
Passmore, Clayton ,Frayne, Wil-
liam Ryckman and Robert Dun-
can.
