Several times in this column we have mentioned the fact that many motorists do not pay much attention to certain stop signs about the. town. Lately we have noticed that the stop signs at certain corners do not mean a thing to many people. These stop signs are not erected to be disre garded but are for the purpose of making our streets as safe as poss ible. People who fail to observe the regulations cannot object if the of ficials lay a charge against them for infractions of the traffic laws. Now that spring is here traffic will increase and children will be playing about and it is up to the motorist to have a care. Drive carefull, ob serve traffic regulations and thus help to avoid accidents. 4c 4: * * BLIND GIRL WON SCHOLARSHIP At the Musical Festival held in Stratford a blind girl from Brantford, i function proper- s, instead of be- owed to pollute So often we read or hear of a per son making a success of something i or other, who, though handicapped to nu pioduc-‘a great extent, struggle on to suc- cess. i Adversity to many is an excuse for I quitting but for others it is the means I of bringing them success as they will : not let an obstacle deter them in » their ambitions. ’ SC 4« 4s 4i There is an agitation in Goderich to do away with the beverage rooms.
