David appears to be a. bright, alert boy because he is self- confident and inquisitive and welcomes new experiences. However, academically he is below average, He is happy now in regular kindergarten but will need special education, His. at- tention span is short and he doesn't concentrate on anything for long — even a favorite television program. A real outdoor boy, David would rather play outside than eat and often has to be reminded to come in for meals, He gets on well with other children. • David needs a mother and father who will appreciate his merry personality without having unrealistic expectations of him, It will be good if there are older boys and girls in David's adoption home, To inquire about adopting David, please write to Today's Child, Ministry of Community and Social Services, Hox 888, Station K, Toronto M4P 2H2.
