'The following is printed just
as it came in to us and we hope
its publication brings the
desired result.
MISSING:
Junior Gardeners' hand-
made leaf doll, She was last
seen in the Junior Gardener's
public garden in the fog of
Friday morning, resting from
her raking of maple leaves un-
der a sheaf of corn stalks.
"Miss Cindy" was supposed
to rake the garden, now that
the asters and petunias have
stopped blooming, until it is
time to plant the Junior Gar-
dener's Christmas tree.
We all hope that "Miss
Cindy" is some place dry and
still well stuffed, to ride in
February's parade. All of us
are anxious to hear of any news
concerning her ... she left her
little rake behind, so we think
that she intends to return to
finish her work. (Signed) The
Clinton Junior Gardeners.
