responsibility of this position. This will include researching
educational needs of the community, identifying course con-
tent, advertising, appointing teachers, registering and
evaluating students.
Community and College Liaison will also be an important
responsibility of this position. Effective relations with
businesses, industries, agencies, groups, and individuals in the
community must be established and maintained. Effective
relations With college personnel are also important as this fun-
ction will provide a link betWeen full-time and 'part-time
education. •
The person appointed will be a key member of a team of tear-
ners and teachers in a changing environment. Personal
qualities required include a Sound formal education; ex ,
perience in either teaching, edOcation administration, or
Cosines* administration; knowledge of community college
programs generally; understanding 9f the geography,
economics and people of Huron County; a readiness to remain
flexible; and the ability' to contribute to centre personality and
development.
