RETURNS FROM EUROPE
The following article was
submitted at our request by
Barbara Graham, Bayfield.
I have just returned from a
ten week tour of Great Britain
and Europe. I travelled with
my girlfriend Teresa Topping,
St. Thomas.
Scotland, England, France,
Holland, Germany, Swit-
zerland, Monaco and Italy
were the countries we visited. It
is impossible to put into words
all the things we saw and did. I
was especially impressed with
the works of Michelangelo.. His
statue the "David" is
breathtaking. We saw many
places; a few of which were
Shakespeare's birthplace; the
Eiffel Tower, the Roman
Forum and the French Riviera.
We were fortunate to have had
warm weather, sunshine and
little rain. Teresa and I met
people from all over the world.
We now have friends in Israel,
Africa and even New Zealand.
We were especially.fortunate to
meet a Canadian couple from
Edmonton, Alberta, Mr. and
Mrs Al Boettcher, who invited
us to tra-tel with them through
England and Wales. It really
was an education and ex-
perience. We learned to ap-
preciate ,hings that we took for
granted‘')efore. I'm glad to be
back it Bayfield with my
family and friends.
