Mathers, both of Goderich. In
the sixth race, "Timberina Hy"
owned by Arnold Doak and
driven by Jack Meriam, both of
Goderich, was out of the
money. In the seventh race
"Mike's Jimmy Lynn" owned
by Lay Zee M Stables, Parkhill,
and Fred Walgos, London was
fifth with Gerry Roebuck
driving.
In the first race Friday night
verted a penalty shot,
• Don Armstrong had a chance
to equalize when he took a
Penalty shot after a St. Colutn-
ban defender handled the ball
inside the box but be shot
straight at the keeper and the
score remained 1.0 for the op-
position at half-time.
In the second half Clinton
took over most of the play but
found the St. Columban
goalkeeper in top form.
Bandy Millar finally found
the net in a goalmouth scram-
ble when the ball rebounded
into play off the crossbar and
Millar was on the spot to head
it home and tie the game.

Jewitt took a long midfield
pass, beat the defence and
made no mistake shooting the
ball into the net, past the out-
stretched goalkeeper, to make
the final score a well deserved
2-1 win for Clinton.

Lucan for an evening game
against the Lucan Intermediate
Club. They defeated the Lucan
Club 6-3. Featuring, was a
strong goaltending display by
Dennis Fleischauer and two-
goal performances by Ken Daer
and Don MacDougall. Greg
Burns added a single and Mel
Hohner slid one into the empty
