The death of a youngster or one in the prime of life often sends waves of shock and disbelief across the still waters of our minds, Rightly so. A' life with so much left undone. Yet sometimes the passing of one of our senior citizens causes har- dly a ripple and is passed off as a natural process of time. That is true - but in the demise of any of our senior townsfolk let us remember that they in their youth and_ prjrnc, we're able to give..of,their spiTitsfirid labour. In hiany cagei'toward the building of our town, whose 100 year old milestone we are on the threshold of celebrating. To steal from the words of today's youth - "they did their thing in their day."
