The museum works on a $35,000 budget from the property committee of County council and takes in about $12,000 in admissions each year. Many Huron County residents have never been inside what is believed to be one of the finest museums.of its type in Canada, the Huron County Pioneer Museum in Goderich. Each year, this tine museum attracts nearly 25,000 visitors, most of them from outside the County. Located on North Street, admission is only $1 for adults and 75c for children. Among the more unusual exhibits at the Pioneer Museum are these pair of Siamese calves donated to the museum by County residents, being looked at by Museum guide Barb Brit- nell, left; Museum curator Raymond Scotchmer of Bayfield; and guide Darlene Warner of Bayfield. The museum now boosts of more than 40,000 sq. feet of exhibit space.
