A honeymoon to the East
Coast followed the June 15
wedding in Ontario Street
United Church, Clinton, at
which Ron Corriveau, Zurich,
took June Falconer of Clinton
as his bride.
The Rev, L,S. Lewis conduc-
ted' the double-ring nuptials
before graceful gold candelabra
filled with white, pink, mauve
and yellow daisies,
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Falconer,
Clinton and Mr. and Mrs. Nap
Corriveau, Zurich, are the
parents of the groom.
The bride chose a formal
gown designed by More-Lee.
The dainty gown was designed
in silk organza fabric and trim-
med with a Venise lace, The
hemline of the gown extended
into a full-cathedral train all
outlined in a full lace ruffle.
Long slim sleeves of the same
lace were cuffed with organza
ruffle. An inserted bib of the
lace detailed with the simple
ruffle completed the charming
wedding gown. She wore a
wide-brim hat with lace effect
and carried a classic cascade of
white stephanotis, pink sen-
sation roses and white daisies.
Matron of honor was Jean
Falconer, sister of the bride,
Clinton. Bridesmaids were
Debbie Rathwell, Varna, and
Susan Corriveau, Goderich.
They were gowned alike in pink
and white floral critnplene
gowns accented with white
collars, Their wide-brimmed
hats -were of matching material
and they carried springtime
baskets of white, Pink, mauve
and yellow daisies with a haze
of baby's breath.
Richard Schilbe, Zurich, was
groomsman. Ushers were Kevin
McKinnon Zurich, and Paul
Corriveau, Goderich.
Organist Mrs. Berne
McKinley` accompanied Mrs, G.
Townsend and Mrs, W. Camp-
bell as they sand Love Story
and We've Only Just Begun.
The Zurich arena was
decorated with pink and white
bells and streamers for the
wedding reception. The bride's
mother wore a light blue gown
with lace overlay on the bodice,
lace sleeves and white daisy
lace trim. She wore a corsage of
pink sensation sweetheart
roses. The groom's mother
wore a gown with a floral
bodice topping a turquoise
skirt, and a corsage of golden
fantasy sweetheart roses,
For travelling, the bride don-
ned a pink pant suit with white
accessories and a white corsage.
The couple are residing on
Quebec Street in Goderich
Miss Mamie Middleton and
- 'herb'Ousitf; Miss,Jean Mullens
of Hamilton are employed for
the summer at The Inn of the
North, Prince George, British
Columbia. Their cousin, Miss
Claire Taylor of Blyth operates
a shop in the same Inn.
The Rev. George Youmatoff
and Canon F.H. l?aull of
Bayfield visited last Wed-
nesday with the Rev. E.J.B.
Harrison in Trillium Lodge,
Sarnia,
Flowers were placed in St.
James Church, Middleton, on
Sunday last in loving memory

Miller and Mrs. Charles
Culbe'rt, and junior bridesmaid
Miss Vicki Beattie, sister of the
bride,
Flowergirl Kim Sinclair,
cousin of the groom, Chatham,
had a gown identical to the
bride's, She wore a band of
white flowers in her hair and
carried a miniature replica of
the bride's bouquet.
Ringbearer was James Beat-
tie, brother of the bride.
Groomsman was Robert Sin-
clair, brother of the groom.
Ushers were John Sinclair and
Thomas Sinclair, brothers of
the groom, and Ian Scott, a
friend of the groom.
The wedding reception was
at Saltford Valley Hall when..

nations,
The bride's mother wore a
blue chiffon gown, blue ac y f -

honeymoon in Niagara'
the bride travelling in a white,,
eyelet dress, pink accessories
and a pink carnation corsage.
They are residing in Kit-
chener.
Four showers were given for
the bride prior to her wedding
with hostesses Mrs. Melba
McLennan, Chatham; Mrs.
Gordon Glousher; Mrs. Ruth
Erb; and Mrs. Vicki Culbert •
and friends. A presentation was
also made to the couple by
friends and neighbors at
Taylor's Corners.
The 39th annual Crich
Reunion was -held at the home
of Mr, and Mrs. Murray Crich
at RR 2., Cargill, on Sunday

Shower
A shower was held in the
Township Hall for Joyce
Taylor, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Bill Taylor a week ago
Tuesday night with about 125
in attendance.
Mrs. Doug McAsh and Mrs.
Bob Webster were in charge of
the following program. A mock
wedding by using puppets was
presented. Five numbers were
sung by the young girls of the
village.
Mrs. Ida.McGlinchey gave a
monologue on Grandma's
Girlhond comparing her way of
living with today's way of life
for Joyce. Gifts were presented
and lunch served.

The bride was escorted to the
altar by her father, She wore a
snow white slender polyester
crepe gown with long full
sleeves ending in long, narrow
cuffs. The high Victorian
neckline was accented with
rows of small daisies down the
front of the bodice and tiny
seed pearls touched off the
neckline and hemline of the
dress. She wore' a Juliet cap
trimmed with small daisies
identical to those on the dress,
caught with a pure silk illusion
train which was edged with
matching daisies. She carried a
bridal nosegay of red roses,
white carnations and
stephanotis.
Miss Lori Beattie, sister of
prejects now loom up in the
near future.
The "Country Fare" sale
sponsored by their A.C.W. is
scheduled for Saturday August
3'at 1:30 p.m. on the St. James
Church grounds. There will be
something for everyone; an
assortment of donated articles
of every kind, used clothing,
furniture, a children's table, a
treasure table, bargains galore,
also a baking and produce
booth, a snack bar etc.
Also, the annual outdoors
"Galilean" service and dinner
of St. James Middleton is
scheduled for Stewart Mid- ,
dleton's Park on Sunday
August 18th at 11 a.m. Do plan
to attend these functions.
