BY JAN DIVOK The Clinton Kinette Bantam girls haven't done' too badly in the last 3 games. Our playing improved quite a bit. On July 9th, we defeated Monkton by a score of 17-6!!! Our next game wasn' t as promising- we lost 28-5 to St. Pauls. Saturday's game proved not only exciting to the players but to the fans as well! New Ham- burg had a one run lead at the end of the game, making the final score 17-16 for them. Pat Harris (1st base) made our Burns spars for Colts Vanastra Gun Club Brian Jewitt scored a fan- tastic nine goals in leading Clinton .SoCcor Club over giteter 12-0 in 'Third Division League play at the weekend. In• a IMMO completely con- trolled by Clinton, Brian Jewitt had a field day scoring' almost at, will,. Charlie Lipp, from penalty, Bill Cantelon and Graham Yeats rounded out the scoring but this was Jewitt's game, setting what is believed to be a record of goals scored by an individual in one game, At the Goderich Raceway last Friday in the first race, the winner was Clever Larry owned by Wm.
