Mrs. William Seers enter-
tained friends, neighbours and
relatives at a trousseau tea last
Sunday in honour of her
daughter's impending

Church Auditorium. The Ex-
plorers with their leaders,
Brenda Ball and Susan Thom-
pson presented a program of in-
strumentals, readings and
choruses with Doreen Jefferson
presiding.
Those taking part included
Janice Daer,. Marilyn Archatri-
batik, Kim McDowell, Ellen
Thompson, Janice Robinson,
Diane McBride, Linda Cun-
ningham and Debbie Cun-
ningham. Mrs. Elliott Lapp
thanked the girls for the ex-
cellent entertainment.

period. Plans were made for the
Easter Thankoffering meeting
to be held Wednesday April 10
at 8:00 p.m. when Mr. Don

Canadian Imperial Bank of
Commerce. Donald Brown has
been appointed as manager of
the bank at Killaloo near Ot-
tawa. Mr. Ferguson's home is

Seaforth III, 4-H club held
their third meeting at the home
of Janice Schenk on Wed-
nesday March 27 at 7:30 p.m.
They discussed a "Place for
everything and storage resour-
ces". Janice demonstrated how
to make a laundry bag.
The group played a closet ac-
cessory game,
They held their fourth
meeting on Monday April 1 at
7:30 p.m.
Brenda demonstrated how to
make a personal sewing kit.
The Canadian Foresters held
their annual dessert euchre on
March 25 in the hall.
Euchre winners for the
evening were ladies' high;
Lillian .Jamieson of Clinton;
lone hands, June Fothergili;
low, Nora Pipe; men's high,
John Thompson; lone hands,
Lorne Bunking of Londesboro;
low, Russell McKray; lucky
plate, Lloyd Pipe. The grocery
draw was won by Alice
Buchanan and Annie Leitch.
