He said that Mr. Herold's claim to a
$200,000 investment in the project was
overblown.
"If he's got that much invested he's put-

talking about is a little bit of land", said
the reeve.
He said that if Blue Anchor proved
ownership then the two sides would go to
arbitration to decide the value of the land

R. E. McKinley (PC-Huron)
received little encouragement
from the departtnent of health
1 nd welfare Tuesday when he
enewal his campaign to create
an Olympic training camp at
the former forces base at Ckin-
-enn.
Norman Cafik, parliamen•
tary secretary to the minister of
health and welfare, told him:'
"I would like to point out
that the feasibility of per-
manent sites for the moment is
unlikely because of the dif-
ficulty of assembling athletes in
any one site for any length of
time and the adaptability of
such sites to facilitate the con-
ditions for any Olympic
program of some 20 sports."
He added the decision will be
made by officials of Game Plan
'76 which consists of the
Canadian Olympic Association,
the Olympic Trust, Sport
Canada, and some of the
provinces.
Mr. McKinley said he had
sent letters to Game Plan '76
associates pressing his
argument for the use of Clinton
faCilities and was not ready to
give up.
The former base has a
20,000-square foot gymnasium,
a swimming pool with adequate
changing rooms, an artificial
ice arena with year-round
facilities, a curling rink, an in-
door and outdoor rifle range,
an eight-lane bowling alley, a
reasonable amount of housing
for families, 500 rooms

The old Blakely house was
being torn down, and the
Ghost family had to move.
They looked all over town,
and decided the Ramsey
house would be just right. It
had a big attic that was never
used. And 'best of all, said
Father Ghost, "Dr. Ramsey's
a doctor, and doctors don't
believe in ghosts. No one will
bother us here." Mother
Ghost warned her son to stay
in the attic. But like all
ghosts, he had a little good in
him and a little bad in him. So
one day, while the little
ghost's good half was taking a
nap, his bad half sneaked-
downstairs to explore the
house. When the good half
caught up with him, he was
standing behind a boy, who
was reading a book.
"Wouldn't it be fun to scare
him a little?" whispered the
little ghost's bad half. And
before the good half could
stop him, he stuck the boy in
the back with a pitchfork.
"Ouch!" yelled the boy:The
ghost's bad half giggled. He
I
knew no one could see him.
But then the boy turned
around and said, "Who are
you?" The bad half ghost
gave a yelp and joined right
back with his good half. Then
the door opened. "Is
something wrong, Bob?"
asked Dr. Ramsey? Bob
looked straight at the ghost
and smiled. "It was nothing,
Dad!" When Dr. Ramsey left,
the little ghost whimpered,•
"How come you didn't tell?"
"Why should I?" Bob grin-
ned. "We're going to have lots
of fun together.'
