ONTARIO'S NEW TAX CREDIT SYSTEM:
2 out of 3
Ontario residents who file
income tax returns this year
will share $300 million
in tax credits.
(Even if they don't pay income tax!)
Families, pensioners, roomers, boarders, the handicapped and others will
benefit. Ontario's newTax Credit System provides for three separate credits,
and here's how they work:
1. People who own or rent (including roomers and boarders) may share
in the Property Tax Credit.
2. People who fill out a Federal income tax return may share in the Sales
Tax Credit.
3. People over 65 may share in the Pensioner Tax Credit.
You must fill out a Federal income tax return.
The new purple Ontario Tax Credit Form comes attached inside it. So even
if you don't pay income tax, you should still file a Federal income tax return
with the Ontario Tax Credit Form this year.
We want you to get your fair share of Ontario's tax credits.

The Band Goes Pop! On
March 9th 33 members of the
Clinton Centennial Band and
12 parents attended the Spring
Pop Concert in ooderich given
by the London Symphony Or-
chestra, This, for many of the
youngsters, was their first ex-
posure to popular-classical
music as played by a full sym-
phony and was apparently en-
joyed by all. The Band Com-
mittee wishes to express its ap-
preciation to all who made the
outing a success.

While' out for a drive lait
Sunday, Ken Jewitt found a
dead wolf lying on the road-
side. The animal had evidently
been hit by a car. This was near
the Kinburn corner on High-
way 8. Moral to all wolves -
better dress in sheep's clothing
and avoid being hit!

"To err is human - to forgive
divine". This past week your
writer has erred to the extent of
collecting no less than three
parking tickets in a five-day
period. My divinity is ap-
proaching the point where I can
also forgive the zealous mem-
bers of our police force, even
the Scot who branded this
Sassenach's car with an ugly
reminder of her infraction.
Anyway - grumble not - the
strong arm of the law is only
carrying out its rightful duty.
