Winners were: ladies' high, Mrs. Myrtle Fairservice; lone hands, Mrs. Bert Brun- sdon; low, Mrs. Jim McEwing; men's high, Bill Leiper; lone hands, Mac Sewers; low, Don Buchanan. There- will be another card party on February 22nd at 8:30 pan., everyone is welcome. Mr. Jack Lee and Murray Flunking attended a training school at Ancaster for White combines last week. Mrs, Bone of Wingham visited with her brother, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Clark on weekend. Mrs. Laura Sundercock and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Shobbrook There is 'to be a Euchre Party in the Sunday School room at St. James Church, Middleton, on Friday evening February 15 at 8:15 p.m. This will be the last such party before Lent and everyone is welcome. St. James Board of Management will meet on Sun- day February 17 immediately after church. The meeting will start with a pot-lunch for ,exerY9Ae•---.>0.- St. James A.C.W. will meet on Thursday February 14 at 8 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Alvin Dutot. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Van- derhaar (nee Anita Tipert) were the guests of honour' at a 'Bayfield Line party held last Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs, attended Wesley-Willis Church Clinton on Sunday morning and visited in Clinton Hospital in the afternoon. Larry and Darlene Flunking spent two \weeks with their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Arie Duizer while their parents Mr. and Mrs. Joe Flunking were on a bus trip to Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Shaddick and family of Fergus spent several" days this past week with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Joe Shaddick. John Semple of R.R.2 Bayfield opened their beautiful new home for this occasion. Euchre was the order of the evening. The Ladies' High prize was won by Mrs. Philip Heitbohmer, Lathed Low by A. Vanderhaar, M. Mr, Jack Lep- Pington won the Men's High and R. Welsh the Men's Low. Linda Postill won the Lucky Lone Hand's prize. Prior .to, a bounteous lunch, the Newlyweds were presented with the gift of a lovely large oval gilt framed mirror. Mr. Brian Semple read the address and Mr. Don Middleton made the presentation.
