Debbies Custard Cup on
Highway 4 south of Clinton
has now become a full-time
operation, and instead of
being open only during the
warmer months, the drive-in
will be open all year.
Besides the year round
operation, owners Jean and
Murray Hohner have
greatly expanded the menu
and now besides their take-
out operation; they offer
full-course meals and
restaurant service,
Contractors have recently
completed a new addition to
the Custard Cup that will
more than double its size
and enable the Hohners to
offer year round service.
The Hohners will be
having an official opening
this weekend when they are
inviting all their friends and
customers to come out and
inspect the new addition
and get in on some opening
specials,
On Saturday, January 12,
everyone who orders a
chicken dinner will receive a
free banana split. On Sun-
day, visitors can get a prime
rib roast dinner for only

Police
report
Clinton Police reported
another quiet week for the
town last week with only two
minor accidents, one of which
slightly injured a Kitchener
girl.
Susan Presley of Kitchener
was taken to hospital and later
released as a result of an ac-
cident on Huron Street near
Orange Street last Saturday
morning. The drivers of the
cars were Andrew De Putter of
Goderich and John Van Loo of
Clinton. About $2,700 damage'.
was done to the two cars.
On Tuesday morning on
Albert Street near Rattenbury,
a car driven by Marie Webster
was involved in an accident
with two parked vehicles.
Avout $550 damage was done
to the three vehicles.
In Clinton court last week,
Robert Henderson of RR 3
Seaforth was fined $50 and
costs for consuming alcohol
while being a minor. Cindy
Stanley was fined $20 and costs
for driving a motor vehicle
without a drivers licence.

they are open from 7 a.m. to
11 p.m. On Friday, they are
open from 7 a.m, to 1:30 a.m.
On Saturday, they are open
from 11 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. and
on Sunday, they will be
open from 11 a,m. to 11 p.m.
