destruction as this ice coated tree at Baylleld demonstrates. The splashing surf have tur-

Christmas staff parties were
in full swing during the festive
season. On December 7 the On-
t'ario Hydro staff based on
HighWay 4 at Vanastra
amalgamated with the Strat-
ford staff and held their party
at the White Carnation.
The two staid monetary
establishments in town did not
amalgamate by design but did
manage to celebrate the same
evening. The Bank of Montreal
staff and The Royal Bank of
Canada staff held their parties
at the White Carnation on
December 22.
Summer fun in the Christmas
season? It would appear so. We
learned that the combined
staffs of Ball-Macaulay
Limited from Clinton, Hensall
and Seaforth partied at the
home of Mr. Bob Wilson,
Seaforth - this took the form of
an outdoor barbecue - they
"cooked out and ate in."
