HARMER/SMYTH. Losing both
parents within eight months has been
a terrible burden. But again, as with
Mom, the support we have received
when we lost Dad has been truly
heartwarming. Our friends and
family have once again lightened
that burden with their cards, flowers,
food and phone calls. And to those
angels of mercy – the staff of
Huronlea Home for the Aged in
Brussels – the world would be a far,
far better place if there were more
people in it like you. Don’t ever lose
the compassion and love that you
show your residents on a daily basis.
You made the last years of my
parents’ lives pleasurable, even in
the face of multiple, medical
hardships. We thank you from the
bottom of our hearts. – Sandra
Harmer and Bob Smyth, Rick and
Ann Harmer.
