The annual ABC Autumn Renewal
took place at Huron Chapel
Evangelical Missionary Church this
past Saturday with the ladies from
Auburn, Blyth, and Clinton gather-
ing for a time of fellowship.
The theme for the day was “Life
Isn’t About Waiting For The Storm
To Pass, It’s About Learning To
Dance in the Rain.
The room was attractively deco-
rated with colourful rain gear. Praise
and worship as well as special music
was provided by Deb Siertsema and
Darlene VanderVeen.
Those in attendance were enter-
tained by six children from the Carry
on Cloggers.
The guest speaker for the day was
Leah Humphreys from New Tribes
Mission in Durham. Leah spoke on
the day’s theme and shared with the
women that we are able to dance
amidst our trials because God is with
us.
The Auburn Horticultural Society
meeting planned for Oct. 27 was
cancelled and rebooked for
Thursday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. It’s
