HomeMy WebLinkAboutThe Citizen, 2008-10-30, Page 7THE EDITOR,I was gravely disappointed onThanksgiving weekend to findgarbage bags full of householdgarbage and asphalt shingles
dumped on the walking trail at the
Huron County Forest on Clyde Line
in Morris-Turnberry.I enjoy the outdoors and am verypassionate about the environment. This disrespect of a beautifulwalking trail broke my heart. I was
incredibly disappointed in the
people responsible for making this
nature trail their landfill site. Are people so lazy that they can’tdispose of their trash at the landfill?Do they have no respect for nature?
The taxpayers of Huron County
unfortunately suffer, as their tax
dollars must be used to remove thedebris. My hope is that theseinconsiderate people realize their thoughtless acts are unacceptableand do not repeat their actions.Respectfully yours,Mary Garniss.THE CITIZEN, THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2008.
