The Municipality of Central Huron is seeking a Finance Supervisor to
complement our staff. We are committed to excellence, realized through
strong and effective leadership, strategic and business planning, and a
focus on its people and customers.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the incumbent will be respon-
sible for managing the functional service areas of property taxation and
accounting. The ideal candidate will possess a post secondary educa-
tion at a University level in business administration, accounting, finance
or economics. Consideration will be given to those enrolled in the
CMA or CGA program. Good organizational, personnel management
and computer skills are required. Experience in municipal accounting
and taxation would be considered an asset. This position requires some-
one with initiative and good communication and public relations skills.
The duties will include among others, supervision of Accounts Re-
ceivable, Account Payable, Payroll and Taxation. Analysis of financial
accounts, funds, budgets and projects. Assist in the implementation and
maintenance of tangible capital asset management system and administer
all facets of the municipal tax sale provisions of the Municipal Act.
