Livestock for the week ending Sept.
19 were 2,930 head of cattle, 707
lambs and goats. On Tuesday fed
steers and heifers sold $1 to $2
higher. Choice steers and heifers
sold $97 to $102 with sales to
$107.25. Second cut sold $94 to
$97. Cows sold on a steady market.
On Thursday veal sold on a strong
steady market. Lambs sold on a
good demand at lower prices. Sheep
and goats sold steady. On Friday
calves and yearlings sold steady.
There were 261 steers on offer.
