Grayson VanCamp, most improved
student from the Morris-Turnberry;
Brittany Appleby, most improved
student from North Huron.

The Campbell family gathered at
the Women’s Institute Hall on
Sunday, June 29 for a summer
picnic.
Gladys Van Camp welcomed 56
relatives. Kendall Jardin said grace
before lunch.
During the afternoon the adults
enjoyed visiting and playing games
and contests. Nancy and Harold
Jardin conducted races, relays and
games outside for the children.
The youngest child was Sophia
Spieran, infant daughter of Jaime
and Mike Spieran of Listowel. Each
child got a Canadian flag tattoo.
Contest winners were Emma and
Natalie Schmid, Sharon and Janelle
Bondi, Vicky Campbell, Mason
Campbell, Scott Campbell and
Joanna Campbell. Those coming
from a distance were from St.
Catharines, London and Strathroy.
There were 11 tables of shoot in
play on Friday, June 27 at the
Community Centre.
The winners were: high pink card,
Dorothy Carter; second high pink
card, Verna Currie; most shoots,
Norma Strong; high white card,
Stuart Chamney; second high white
card, George Inglis; most shoots,
Jim Hunter.
The shoot parties will resume in
September.
