MUNICIPALITY OF MORRIS-TURNBERRY
Help Wanted
The Municipality of Morris-Turnberry requires the following employee:
1 -Foreman - Full Time
for the Public Works Department
This position will be a full time foreman position, 40 hours per week,
complete with benefits. A job description for the position is available for
review at the Municipal Office.
The successful applicant must possess the following skills:
• a Class DZ licence •
Ontario Secondary School Diploma ( Grade 12)
• Completion of or willingness to enroll in Ontario Good
Roads Courses
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in road construction and maintenance in a
municipal environment
• Operation and maintenance experience with a loader
backhoe, road grader, dump truck and snow plow equipment
• Basic computer knowledge
• Experience supervising employees will be an asset.
This position will be posted internally and externally. All internal
qualified candidates will be given equal consideration.

Project Assistant
The Project Assistant position is a 3 year contract
reporting to the Drinking Water Source Protection
Project Manager. TheProjectAssistant will support the
AusableBayfield and MaitlandValley Source Protection
Region in achieving the objectives as set out in the
Clean Water Act Regulations, Guidelines and Policies
through providing secretariat support to the Source
Protection Committee and Joint Management
Committee, reporting and analysis of Working Group
participation, technical writing, providing logistical
support to the Source Water Protection Project,
coordinating office operations in the DWSP office
including limited financial support.
