The Maitland Valley Conservation Authority is accepting
applications for the position of Watershed Information
Technician.
Operate, maintain and collect samples for the Provincial
Groundwater Monitoring Network. Coordinate and sample the
Provincial Water Quality Monitoring Network for streams and
rivers and evaluate network design.
Monitor and report on low flow conditions in the watershed.
Coordinate the development and collection of indicators for the
MVCA Watershed Report Cards.
Provide aquatic/terrestrial information for development of
landowner stewardship plans.
Coordinate the operation and implementation of GIS in the
MVCA office.
Provide technical support to community groups and the
Maitland Watershed Partnerships Water and Terrestrial
Teams.
