Country fun
Clockwise from top left:
Memories of the Barn Dance
came to Blyth last week as
country music fans gathered
for the Campout Jamboree
and the am920 country
singing contest. The Barn
Dance band with Hugh Eider
on rhythm guitar, Grant
Heywood on drums and
singer Bruce Hodgson
entertained at the arena.
Emcee for the evening was
Jim Swan; The Wilkinsons
performed Thursday night
at Blyth Memorial Hall.
Attendees had the chance to
meet the family, (father
Steve and siblings Amanda
and Tyler) and get their
autographs; There was a
good turnout for dinner at the
Blyth arena on Saturday
night as the local Lions
served up barbecued pork
chops. (Shawn Loughlin and Vicky
