She was 62. The former Margery Black was the beloved wife of the late Malcolm Lewis. She was the dear sister of Joan Riley of Charlottesville, Virginia, Tom and Connie and Keith and Barb, all of East Wawanosh Twp. and Murray Black and Jane Ryan of Blyth. She was the special aunt of Jodie and Jason, Jennifer, Justin, Lisa, Vicky and Brent, Heather, Christina and Dan, Jamie and Erica and Melissa and Cody. She was predeceased by her parents William and Florence (Nethery) Black. Visitation was at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Wednesday, May 21 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service was held at the funeral chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m. Pastor Les Cook officiated. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. On-line condolences may be made at www.mcburneyfuneralhome.com WILLIAM NORMAN SKELTON Mr. Norman Skelton of Wingham passed away at Wingham and District Hospital on Friday, May 23, 2008. He was 83. He was the beloved husband of the former Shirley Mason. He was the dear father of Sharon and James Philpott of Brantford,Alan and HelenSkelton of Wingham and Mark andJenny Skelton of Keswick. He wasthe brother of Florence Skelton, Raymond Skelton and Howard and Margaret Skelton, all of Brantford. He was the loving grandfather of Lisa and Allan Koivu, Gail and Todd McCracken, Cara and Mike Bester and Madison Skelton and Scott Plourde. Mr. Skelton is also survived by five great-grandchildren. His parents George and Annie (Stephenson) Skelton, four brothers and two sisters predeceased him. Visitation was at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Tuesday, from 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. The funeral service was held at the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Rev. Sandra Yule officiated. Interment will be later in Brussels Cemetery, Morris Twp. Memorial donations to Bluevale United Church or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. On-line condolences may be made at www.mcburneyfuneralhome.com GORDON MURRAY ARMSTRONG Mr. Gordon Murray Armstrong passed away at Caressant Care, Listowel on Thursday, May 22, 2008. He was in his 84th year. He was the beloved husband of Muriel (Willis) Armstrong. He was the dear father of Robert Armstrong of Atwood, Brenda and Wayne Hall of Ethel, Colleen and Paul Barnhill of Kitchener, Brian and Debbie Armstrong of North Bay, and Dianeand Ken Braam of Kitchener. He wasthe grandfather of Adam, Jessica,Jason, David, Kristen, Terah, Amanda, and Catherine and brother- in-law of Oran Willis of London. Mr. Armstrong was predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Edith (Holmes) Armstrong and his sister Ruth Bricker. Murray served in England and Holland during the Second World War. He left the military in 1968 and first settled in Listowel. He and Muriel then moved to Atwood where he owned and operated Armstrong’s Garage, attended Atwood Presbyterian Church and drove a school bus for many years. A Royal Canadian Legion Memorial Service was held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Saturday, May 24 at 10 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Rev. Ralph Dwarika officiated. Memorial donations to the Parkinson Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. RICHARD FREDERICK HENRY Richard Frederick Henry of Listowel, passed away at his home in Listowel, on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 in his 51st year. He was the husband of Diana (Melnyk) Henry and father of Amanda Henry and Justin Hamilton of Atwood, and Matthew Henry and Sarah Jamieson of Listowel. He was the brother of David and Laurie Henry, Sandra and Wayne Gooding, and Darlene Henry, all of Listowel,Brenda and Maurice Drager ofTrowbridge, Joe and Nancy Henry ofGorrie, Wendy and Brad Clark of Ethel, Wayne and Sandy Henry of Brussels, and Karen and Rick Harper of Atwood. He was the son-in-law of Marilyn Melnyk of Moncton, N.B., and brother-in-law of Linda and Barry Sage and Wayne and Joyce Melnyk, all of Listowel and Carol and Danny Hall of Teulon, MB. Mr. Henry is survived by many nieces and nephews.
