On May 23, 2008 at
approximately 9 p.m. a motor
vehicle was westbound on Blyth
Road when an ATV came off a trail
southbound and onto the road.
OPP say the vehicle swerved to
avoid the ATVthen collided with the
guardrails on the opposite side of
the road. The ATV fled the scene in
a northeasterly direction.
The four wheeler is described as
grey with a "homemade" push bar
on front, no licence plates, no front
light, no muffler and a bigger wheel
base.
The driver was wearing a blue and
grey helmet with decals. The
passenger on the ATV had blond
hair and was wearing a red sweater
with no helmet.
“Luckily this wasn’t a fatal
collision investigation,” said Const.
Joanna Van Mierlo. “Police wish to
speak to the owner of the ATV.”
