Coming into the presence of a God of light is when our dirt is exposed and we want to be clean. My encouragement If you are not a Christian, God is not your Father. Your father then is the prince of this world, the devil. He is a liar and come to steal and kill. He says you are alright the way you are and blinds you to the light. In the end, this path leads to death. If you are a Christian, you are a child of God. God is your Father and heaven is your home. Do you understand and treasure being God’s child and value it? Do you remind yourself of the privilege it is to be part of the family of God? Do you and I treat God our Father with respect and obey him? Do you welcome his fellowship and try everything you do to please him? Have you learned to hate the things that displease your Father? Are you sensitive to the evil things that he is sensitive? Do you make a point of avoiding the evil things so I do not grieve him?
