The Terpstra sisters, Emily, Chelsea and Allison, stepdanced and gave entertaining and informative speeches before the meeting started. Leona Armstrong opened the meeting with a poem, Spring Flowers. Cathrine Campbell led in prayer then the hymn, Whatever My God Ordains is Right, was sung. Rev. Campbell led the responsive reading of Psalm 84. Mrs. Armstrong read an article entitled Breathe Deep the Day. A video on fall prevention, produced by Marguerite Thomas was shown. The video showed development from babyhood until old age with some pictures of local people. As people age they are most prone to falls. The video made suggestions on fall prevention. President Mary Carr conducted the business. The WMS spring rally will be held in Brussels May 12. The Guild is invited to meet with its twin society in Wingham May 6. Valerie Sharp will be the speaker. Alice Marks reported on plans for the springtime supper to be held Sunday, April 27. Tickets are still available from members.
