After the singing of the children’s
hymn, This Is God’s Wondrous
World, the children sat in the front
pew. For children’s time Melissa
asked the children what season it was
and what they liked about it. They
said spring is a time of flowers
blooming, the grass is getting
greener, it is getting warmer, thebirds are back, and animals are beingborn. These are all God’s creations andmiracles reminding that the best isyet to come. After The Lord’s Prayer the
children adjourned to Sunday
school.
The scripture lesson was Isaiah 43:
16-21, and Mark 4: 26-34. Other
hymns that were sung were In the
Bulb and God of Life.
Melissa’s message was entitled
Spring Forward. It revolved around
children’s time. Trust and believe in
God and He will always keep His
promises. By dwelling on the past
the new miracles in life are missed.
God wants people to spring forward
to see what he has in store for them.
Joyce Vincent and Doug Walker
took up the offering. This was
followed by the singing of Your
Work, O God, Needs Many Hands.
The closing hymn was Let All
Things Living.
