NEWS
FROM AUBURN
By Gail DobieCall 519-526-7539PEOPLE AROUND AUBURN At Huron Chapel there was a
special time of worship and
communion on Good Friday.
A time of fellowship with hot-
cross buns and muffins followed the
service.
On Easter Sunday there were
several offerings of music
throughout the service which
included a ladies’ choir, a ladies’
trio, a beautiful piano offertory and
Rev. Jeff Wood, Pastor Dave
Wood’s brother, blessed the
congregation with a solo.
Pastor Wood mentioned in his
sermon, that Easter was and still is
about God reaching out to man and
that Jesus is the hinge on which the
doorway of history swings.
Knox United Church had a
special female choir for Easter
Sunday.
