Council decided to send a letter to the OPP and to the County expressing their concerns. Reeve Neil Vincent and deputy-reeve Murray Scott who represent North Huron at county council said these concerns were not brought before Huron County council. If no changes are made on the road, council may look at negotiating ways to take over the county road on a 90/10 split. That would mean 10 per cent of the costs to run the road would be paid by the township, the other 90 by the county. North Huron would be liable for the road and would have control over traffic.
