ATTENTION CASH CROP FARMERS
Are you thinking about retirement, or maybe you’re just
getting tired but still want to be involved in farming? Wouldn’t
it be nice to watch someone else do all the work while you
put your feet up and relax? Then share cropping might just
be for you. I would like to offer a 50/50 share crop agree-
ment. Just pay for half the input costs and receive half of the
crop and I’ll look after the rest. You will benefit a number of
different ways. For example, you will still be able to take
advantage of any government programs. (RMP, CAIS etc.)
Get a fair return for your land. Be involved with the decision
making and rotation of crops. Good land stewardship as well
as some tax benefits versus straight cash rent.
If at all interested or would like some more information,
please contact Mike Colclough at 519-482-9733
or 519-525-8218, Clinton.
