The family of Agnes McBurney wishes to express our sincere thanks to relatives, neighbours and friends for their many acts of kindness and expressions of sympathy through visitations, memorial contributions, floral tributes, cards, phone calls and food brought to our home after the recent passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Special thanks to Pastor Elly Dow who, as a friend, neighbour and pastor conducted such a thoughtful and meaningful memorial service. Thank you also to Rev. John Roberts for his kind words and gift of song to celebrate Agnes’ life, to his wife Kaye who accompanied him and to grandsons David and Michael who spoke reminiscing of their grandmother. Thank you to the pallbearers and her three grandsons who were flower bearers. Our heartfelt thanks to Braemar Nursing Home where Agnes spent her last eight months, to Dr. Gear, Dr. Antoniadis and staff at the Wingham and District Hospital, to Doug and Jackie McBurney, Amy Keller and staff of the McBurney Funeral Home for their caring and professional services, the Calvin-Brick U.C.W assisted by Belgrave Knox U.C.W for the lunch and reception following the service. – Ron and Jean, Hugh and Gloria and families. 02-1 -------------------------------------------- SCOTT. My world felt broken apart after what happened to me but my heart is mending thanks to outings, cards, flowers, gifts, hugs, telephone calls and visits from my family, friends and neighbours. Wonderful and affectionate words of remembrance spoken by Rev. Sandra Yule will be remembered by our family and will lighten our burden as we carry on with our own lives. We appreciated the meal in our home between visitations, prepared by a special friend, as well as the lunch provided by the Bluevale United Church ladies, to the many people who came to our home, following the service. Wouldn’t it be nice to watch someone else do all the work while you put your feet up and relax? Then share cropping might just be for you. I would like to offer a 50/50 share crop agree- ment. Just pay for half the input costs and receive half of the crop and I’ll look after the rest. You will benefit a number of different ways. For example, you will still be able to take advantage of any government programs. (RMP, CAIS etc.) Get a fair return for your land. Be involved with the decision making and rotation of crops. Good land stewardship as well as some tax benefits versus straight cash rent.
