Brussels Minor Soccer needs a
new ref-in-chief.
The ref-in-chief would be
responsible for finding refs, getting
the refs trained at a local clinic,
scheduling the refs for all home
games, and making sure the refs
hand in their time sheets for
payment.
Anyone interested in this position
should contact a Brussels Minor
Soccer executive. Members are
Kathy Nichol, Thea Harding, John
VanVliet, Susan Jared.
New directors are also needed. It
is time for new blood.
The executive is hoping people
will consider volunteering so soccer
can continue in Brussels.

and the 1993 OMHA Blyth Bantam champs on Friday night in Blyth. The old guys won the
contest skating away with a 5-4 victory. They did, however, have a little help. Retired NHLer
Bob Probert was the guest player. He was also on hand to sign autographs. The Blyth Minor
Hockey fundraiser also featured silent and live auctions. (Vicky Bremner photo)
