Hickingbottom and Janet Rat* , pliffe, Miss Hickingbottom had practised as a registered nurse during her life. She retired from her profession in 1954and spent her retirement years in God*, erich, She was. a member of Knox Presbyterian Church while a resident of Goderich. Miss Hickingbottom is sur­ vived by one sister, M;cs. Robert (Edna) Johnston, of Kelstern, Sask., and Goderich. Funeral services were held Sunday, December 3, from the Stiles Funeral Home, with the Rev. G,L, Royal in charge. Interment was in Ball’s Cemetery, Auburn. Pallbearers were Bob Arm­ strong, William Empey, Tom Johnston, Gordon McClinchey, Oliver McBrien, Wilmar Nicholson. NELLIE VANESSA colborne • Miss Nellie Vanessa Col- borne, 79', a former Goderich resident, died Tuesday, Novem­ ber 5, at Huronview rest home Clinton. She was born August 17,1888 in Goderich, the daughter. of John Henry Colborne and Ellen Bruce. Miss Colborne lived all her life in Goderich except for the past eight years which she spent at Huronview. She attended public and high schools in Goderich. , Miss Colborne was a mem­ ber of North Street United Church. She is survived by one sister Miss Muriel. Gwendolyn Col* • borne, Westminster-Hospital, London. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 8, at 2 p.m. from Stiles Funeral Home, God­ erich. The Rev. J. Donald Mac­ Donald will officiate. Interment will be in Maitland Cemetery. MARY EMMA LYNCH Mrs:. Mnry Emma Lynch, 73, of 128 Eldon Street, Goderich, died Tuesday, December 5, at Alexandra Hospital, after a sew en-week illness. She was born April 19, 1894 near Walton, Ontario, the daugh­ ter of Edgerton Roe and E. Holland. She, attended school in Wal­ ton. She was married to Frederick Henry Lynch,'June 10, 1916, at Regina, Saskatchewan. He pre­ deceased her June 27, 1961. The couple .lived in Saskat­ chewan until 1930 then moved to Goderich. Mrs. Lynch was a member of North Street United Church. She is survived by Mrs. Fred (Irene) Miller, Clinton; Mrs. Eric (Evelyn) Harrison, Strat­ ford and Mrs, William (June) Bond, Almonte, Ontario. Nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also sur­ vive, Two sisters and two brothers , also survive. They are: Wil­ liam Roe, Walton; Wesley Roe, Seaforth; “Mrs. Nellie Lowrle, London and Mrs. William Ma- chan, Ethel, Ontario.. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 7 at2 p.m, from Stiles Funeral Home, God­ erich. Rev. J. Donald MacDonald will conduct the service. Interment will be in Mait­ land Cemetery. She wa? boriv May 28, 1882 in Stanley township, the daughter of John Armstrong and Ellen Clark, She was married to James Boyce who predeceased her. Mrs. Boyce was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Goderich She is survived by two sons, Leonard T,J. Boyce, Goderich and Fred J. Boyce, Tucker, smith township. Also surviving are five grand, children and two great-grand­ children; One sister and two brothers also survive; Wilson and Edgar Armstrong, of Clinton and Mrs. Mary Wheatley of Toronto. Funeral services were held December 2, at 2:00 p.m. from Lodge Funeral Home, Goderich, with the Rev, G.L, Royal of- ficiating. Interment was in Baird's cemetery, Stanley Township. Pallbearers were: Eldon Johnston, Harry Worsell, Stanley Prevett, Arthur Peck, Stuart Boyce and Mervin Boyce. blyn, September 7, 1902, London, England, . She was married to John Ira Rapson on January 3, 1923, at Londesbpro, Following their marriage, the couple lived in Hullett tpwi> ship, They latex- moved tp God­ erich where they have resided since 1955, Mrs, Rapson was an ardent member of Londesboro United Church while she lived in Rullett township, She was organist, Sun­ day shool teacher and a mem­ ber of the choir at different times during her membership in that church. While living in Goderich, she was a member of North Street United Church. ' Besides? her busband, Mi’s, Rapspn is survived by one son and two daughters. They are: Kenneth,' Goderich; Mrs. Wil­ fred (Shirley) Parent-, Mitchell; Mrs Wayne (Joanne) Muck, God­ erich. Also surviving are ten grand­ children. Two sisters also survive; Mrs. Roy (Annie) Nelson, Bracebridge and Mrs. James (Elsie) Price, Toronto. Funeral services wepe held Saturday, December 2, from Stiles Funeral Home, Goderich, With the Rev. J, Donald Mac­ Donald officiating: Interment was in Ball's Cemetery, Auburn.
