Peck, motor transport technicians Jr. farmers meet The Huron County Junior Far­ mers met in the agricultural board rooms at Clinton with 15 ipembers present on Octo­ ber 25,1967. Murray Hoover was in charge of the meeting with Jamison Ribey reading the minutes of- toe last meeting. The trea­ surer's report was read by Murray as Don Pullen wasn't able to attend. It was reported that the Jun­ iors are holding a banquet in Belgrave in November and any-, one wanting tickets jmust get them by November 14. There is also a ticket draw to support toe World Literacy Fund of Canada to be made at toe ban­ quet. The Huron Juniors got their first letter from toe child they adopted. Tfie child is male, 13 years old and lives in India. He will be supported by the Juniors for one year. It was decided to have the curling competition toqlastSaU urday in January again this year. Also that the county have another hockey competition this year. The next county meeting is to be on November 29, 1967. R. 2 Blyth as vice-chairman and Mrs. Faye Fear, R. R. 5 Brus­ sels, secretary-treasurer. Voting delegates were named for the forthcoming zone and provincial meetings. They are Robert Johns, Woodham; Wil­ liam Leeming, Walton, James Williamson, R. R. 2 Walton; Lloyd Stewart, R. R. 2 Clin- ton; and Mervyn Smith, R. R. 1 Walton.
